2026 Champions
User conference

Unanet’s biggest event of the year happens in every spring in a new location across the country, drawing our most engaged users to a three day unforgettable event.

inspiration

When I found out the 2026 event was going to be held in San Diego, CA, I drew on my time visiting Southern California. Knowing that Mexican culture is so intertwined with daily life there, I thought it would make a nice acknowledgment of the local history.

Having recently spent time in Mexico City, I found the patterns and colors of painted alebrijas (handmade, fantastical folklore animals; think of the creatures in the movie Coco) to be a nice visual cue, and they provided the ideal backdrop for Unanet’s lively conferences.

Brand visual identity

The vibrant colors and tight, highly detailed designs that alebrejas are painted with provided the inspiration but there was more to be determined. Such as how this would flow into actual marketing assets, signage, social, presentations, badges, etc. I knew I wanted to play around with the colors and patterns in an organic, flowing way, this set the stage for the swirling shapes that wrap into and intertwined with the content itself.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
