Bio
Originally from Salt Lake City, I moved to Portland in the fall of 2000 in search of cloudier climates and more salmon-related food. I found both, settled in for the long haul, and have been here ever since.
I've worked as a creative professionally since around 2005, but it really started much earlier. I was the kid in school that would practice my hand writing for fun because I liked how making different letterforms felt. Or later on, when my high school Latin teacher made us repeatedly decline nouns on paper (for punishment), I was the only one who looked forward to it. Much has changed in the intervening years, but I still send hand written letters when I can and appreciate how the pencil feels in my hand.
